    Blumarine is a brand owned by Exelite S.p.A.

    Pursuant to the legislation in force regarding personal data protection, Exelite S.p.A. (formerly Liu Jo S.p.A. and hereinafter referred to as "Liu Jo" or "Data Controller"), with registered office in Viale J.A. Fleming 17, Carpi (MO), Italy, as Data Controller, provides you with the following information regarding the processing of your personal data.

    2. Personal Data Subject to Processing

    If you choose to provide them, the Data Controller will process your personal data, which may include, but is not limited to, identification data, contact details, and purchase data. No special categories of personal data will be processed. If you provide personal data of third parties, you will assume the related responsibilities, exempting the Data Controller from any consequences related to such processing.


    3. Purposes of Processing

    Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes: sales and after-sales services and responding to specific requests from the data subject (service provision), marketing and profiling activities with prior consent, compliance with legal obligations, and prevention of abuse and fraud.


    4. Legal Basis for Processing

    The processing of your personal data for the purposes set out in the previous paragraph will be based on the following legal bases:

    • Provision of the Service: processing is required to fulfil a contract to which the data subject is a party or to follow up on an express request;
    • Marketing: based on the data subject's consent, which may be revoked at any time without consequences;
    • Profiling: based on the data subject's consent, which can be revoked at any time without consequences;
    • Compliance: required to fulfil legal obligations, with possible retention and communication of data to the competent authorities;
    • Abuse/Fraud: legitimate interest of the Data Controller to prevent and identify fraud or abuse, essential for the legal protection of Liu Jo.

    5. Recipients of Your Personal Data

    Your Personal Data may be disclosed to entities acting as independent data controllers, such as public authorities, or processed on behalf of the Company by entities providing services that are required to fulfil the aforementioned purposes, designated as Data Processors pursuant to Art. 28 of the GDPR.


    6. Transfer of Your Personal Data

    As it operates internationally, Liu Jo may transfer the Personal Data collected to countries outside the EU. In this case, Liu Jo will ensure that such transfers comply with data protection regulations through adequate guarantees such as, by way of example, the signing of agreements that guarantee respect for the rights and freedoms of the data subjects (Standard Contractual Clauses).     7. Storage of Your Personal Data

    Personal data will be retained for the period strictly necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, complying with the deadlines established by law for the retention of administrative and accounting documentation and for the protection of the Data Controller's rights in the event of any disputes. The data collected for profiling and/or marketing purposes will be stored until you revoke your consent. Detailed data (e.g., purchase details) used for marketing and profiling purposes will be retained for 24 months and subsequently deleted or anonymised.


    8. Rights of the Data Subjects

    You have the right to access your personal data, request rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, object to processing, request data portability, withdraw consent to processing, and lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
